Highlights and Activities:
DAY 1: Arrival
Drive to the Eastern part of Uganda at around 6:00am with en-route views of beautiful plantations. Sumptuous lunch in Mbale City. Proceed to Kapchorwa for the magnificent Sipi falls, a local guide well take you through all the 3 levels of Sipi falls.
Check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2: Hike Mount Elgon
After a healthy delicious breakfast, transfer to Kapkwai exploration center for briefing before the adventurous hike. Through the trails of the montane and bamboo forest you get to see different bird species like the white chinned prinia, the blue turaco, and animals like the forest elephants also the Chebonet falls and Kapkwai caves. Return to the lodge for lunch and Evening relaxation at the Camp fire where you’ll have dinner.
DAY 3: Departure
After heavy breakfast, check out of the lodge and depart for Kampala. En-route stop in Jinja to visit the source of the Nile, Have Lunch before we proceed to Kampala.
