Itinerary for 14-Day Uganda Birding Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Entebbe Birding
You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Birding at the Entebbe Botanical Gardens and Lake Victoria shores for species like the great blue turaco, pied kingfisher, and black-and-white casqued hornbill.

Day 2: Shoebill Tracking at Mabamba Swamp
In the morning, you will have a canoe ride in Mabamba Wetlands to search for the rare shoebill stork. While you spot other waterbirds like African jacana, malachite kingfisher, and papyrus gonolek and later transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 3: Birding in Murchison Falls National Park
Early morning game drive in the savannah searching for species like Denham’s bustard, Abyssinian ground hornbill, and secretary bird. In the Afternoon, you will have a boat safari on the Nile to see shoebills, goliath herons, and saddle-billed storks, you will later Hike to the top of Murchison Falls for scenic views of this breathtaking falls.

Day 6: Transfer to Semuliki National Park

Day 7: Full-Day Birding in Semuliki Forest

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive
